Abigail Collins (Undergraduate Researcher and Independent Study Student)

Abigail (amcollins3@wisc.edu) is a senior majoring in psychology with honors. She plans to pursue a Ph.D. in industrial/organizational (I/O) psychology. She is interested in studying how fostering worker well-being, engagement, and belonging can lead to a decrease in burnout and an increase in life satisfaction. She is also interested in the effects of inclusive paid leave policies and shifting worker norms. She currently works as a consulting intern at the Office of Strategic Consulting and is a member of UW–Madison's Psi Chi chapter. After graduate school, she intends to explore and utilize I/O psychology research to positively impact the lives of employees as an I/O practitioner. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, baking, finding new coffee shops, and spending time with friends.

Brooke Kirkendall-Jones (Undergraduate Researcher)

Brooke (bkirkendallj@wisc.edu) is currently a junior majoring in Psychology with a certificate in Disability Rights and Services. She is the fundraising coordinator for NAMI-UW. She plans on attending graduate school to obtain a master's in I/O psychology. She is primarily interested in studying employee well-being and exploring how to foster proactive work environments. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her friends and exploring new places in Madison. She loves to read, cook, and go on walks.

Sung Joon (Brian) Lee (Undergraduate Researcher)

Brian (slee867@wisc.edu) is a senior from Seoul, South Korea majoring in both Political Science and Communication Arts with a focus on Communication Science and Rhetorical Studies. He is curious about cognition, decision-making, human behavior, and the crossroads of communication and psychology within the context of organizations. As a result, he will be applying to doctoral programs in Organizational Behavior (Micro) and Management in Fall 2023 with a career in academia in mind. He is the Vice President of the Korean Undergraduate Student Association (KUSA) on campus. Weight training and appreciating music of all genres are integral to him outside the lab.

Logan Lofland (Undergraduate Researcher)

Logan (llofland@wisc.edu) is a junior from northern Illinois studying psychology and business. He plans to attend graduate school to attain a PhD in clinical psychology and an MBA. His goal is to have a career as a practicing psychologist and owner of an interdisciplinary mental health facility that will treat diverse clientele, conduct research, and serve as a training organization for graduate students in psychology. Logan is the treasurer of the Psychology Club at UW and a Crisis Counselor at the Crisis Text Line. He enjoys volunteering at the UW Health Psychiatric Unit and spending time with his friends and family, exercising, and being outdoors.

Alexander Rader (Undergraduate Researcher)

Alex (arrader@wisc.edu) is a junior biology student who has lived in many places, and who is currently from Madison, Wisconsin. He plans to attend medical school and has worked as a CNA, EMT and ER technician. Alex has always been very interested in how people learn and the methods they use to do that. Interests outside of school have included skiing, piano, martial arts, and amateur radio. These days, when he has free time, he enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, swimming, and biking. 

Hareem Rauf (Undergraduate Researcher)

Hareem (hrauf@wisc.edu) is a junior majoring in Economics with minors in Science Communication, Public Policy, and Data Science. She is interested in studying how human behavior is impacted by the implementation of social policies. More specifically, she wants to explore the effectiveness and extent of government intervention through policy measured by human response. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends/family and sketching.

Jessica Roder (Undergraduate Researcher)

Jessica Roder (jroder@wisc.edu) is a first-generation senior majoring in Psychology with a certificate in Gender and Women’s Studies. She plans to pursue higher education after earning her bachelor’s degree with the goal of becoming a college-level educator. She is interested in studying gender and bias, neurodiversity, and cognition. Outside of her studies, Jessica has worked for ten years in leadership positions at a local tea shop. She enjoys spending time with her friends and pets, reading, and yoga. 

Yulin Tong (Undergraduate Researcher)

Yulin (ytong46@wisc.edu) is a junior, majoring in Psychology and Data Science. Yulin is interested in the influence of knowledge on cognition, communication, and other human behaviors. She is also intrigued by the logic of human behavior and is keen to translate this understanding into real-world applications. After graduation, she plans to attend graduate school to pursue a degree in Organizational Psychology or Counseling Psychology. Outside of school, she is a book enthusiast who finds comfort in traveling, cooking, and skiing.

Li Zhan (Undergraduate Researcher)

Li Zhan (lzhan8@wisc.edu) is a junior majoring in psychology. She is interested in learning how knowledge affects human behavior or perception. Specifically, she wants to understand why people think and behave differently under similar situations. Li plans to attend graduate school in behavioral psychology. In the future, she would love to have a career that involves exploring how to improve human's well-being through adjusting behavior and cognition. In her spare time, Li enjoys going to concerts, watching cute animal videos, and checking out new restaurants.
